A meaningful and developing assignment where you will work with place development, marketing, and collaboration in an established partnership between three municipalities. The role gives you the opportunity to work both strategically and operationally, with great freedom under responsibility and clear influence on shared results.

You will become a key person in the Roslag Collaboration and work closely with engaged colleagues in Norrtälje, Östhammar, and Österåker. The work is characterized by trust, dialogue, and collaboration, and suits you who thrive in social contexts and are motivated by getting people, ideas, and organizations to work in the same direction.

The Assignment

As project manager for the Roslag Collaboration, you will be responsible for leading and coordinating the operational activities between the municipalities. The assignment includes:

• leading the daily work and keeping the joint staff together
• planning, driving, and following up activities within the action and operational plan
• making priorities within the framework of the established strategy
• coordinating working groups between the municipalities
• preparing decision-making materials and preparations for the Destination Council
• being the contact person for the web agency and coordinating both operations and development
• leading the work with new procurement of the web agency in 2026
• being responsible for budget, financial follow-up, and reporting

Challenges and Opportunities

The assignment involves navigating in a collaborative environment where three municipalities with different organizations, processes, and perspectives meet. It requires structure, clarity, and good collaborative skills.

At the same time, the role offers great opportunities to influence how municipal collaboration works in practice, develop common working methods, and contribute to a stronger and more cohesive place brand for Roslagen.

What You Need to Bring

Requirements:

• experience in leading projects with many stakeholders
• experience in municipal operations or other politically governed organizations
• good collaborative skills and social competence
• understanding of communication and place brands
• experience in web or digital development projects
• ability to work independently and in a structured manner
• experience in preparing decision-making materials
• driving license (B)

Meritorious:

• experience in collaboration between multiple organizations
• experience in procurement, preferably digital services
• experience in the tourism industry or place development
